Spirituality is central to a relationship. The spiritual foundation affects how a couple resolves conflict, practices grace with each other, and handles life decisions, challenges, and long-term goals. A shared spiritual base can bring deep emotional closeness and, eventually, marital satisfaction.

A strong spiritual base does not start when the relationship begins. The spiritual foundation starts with you. I used to know a lady who would always adopt the religion of the person that she was dating. If the man wasn’t religious, she didn’t give it any thought. If the man was religious, she was all in.

I will encourage you to establish a faith that is all your own and stand on it. As for me, I am leaning on the everlasting arms…….
